My mam has recently had a new boiler with this thermostatic controls fitted and can't get to grips with it.
Ideally she wants to be able to have heating on and off when she wants it , not timed.
She won't want it on during the night.. Is this possible and how?
TIA.

Is the boiler accesible for her ? If it is I always leave the roomsat on constant and tell to use the summer switch on the boiler, its less confusing. If its not you can just use the slider on/off switch on the reciever. What boiler does she have ?

Thanks.. It's a Vallaint ecotec. She got the grant to get it for free.
They seem much more complicated !but think I may have sussed it
Have set comfort mode to 23 and setback to 10. No timers set.. Told her if it gets too got to move the bottom slider to the moon. And back to the sun if required.. She's worried it's going to keep coming on and getting bigger bills!

Doing it that way it will come on every time it drops below 23 degrees (or below 10) slide it to the far right will turn heating off unless temp drops below 5 degrees (frost protection)
