Siemens to stop producing Electrium wiring accessories

Good evening, hope everyone in DIYnot land is keeping well!

Just seen that Siemens have announced they will be stopping producing all wiring accessories sold under the Crabtree, Volex and Appleby brands at the end of this year.

I used to install nothing but Appleby boxes as they used to be the best but given how far the quality has fallen recently I doubt they'll be missed.

That’s a shame; I’ve been using Crabtree Capital because they don’t have white covers over the screws, which I find annoying.

What does the letter mean by “Crabtree, Wylex and the wider Siemens Circuit Protection ranges are nit affected”? Does that mean consumer units, MCBs etc.?
