Hi, thinking of using silicone in the joints of a laminate floor I’m about to lay, reason is I’m laying it in a kitchen and just want to give it a better chance of survival against water splashes, is this normal practice? Or would a pva glue be better? Thanks

you need glue as silicon will flex and fail
just choose a flooring suitable for wet areas
