I recently moved into a new house with hardwood windows that have been siliconed in not puttied. The problem is they never look clean because of the combination of silicone and woodstain smears around the edges. Does anyone know of a strong product that would help with removing these marks. I have tried using a scraper but although that helps it doesn't quite do the trick. Any suggestios please.

what about one of them "stanley balde holders" with stanley blade in of course, they are almost as sharp as a razor blade
