Silicone ( straight edge)

I have just tiled my kitchen and about to ilicone along bottom of tiles/ top of worktop. Any ideas as of how to get a completely straight line along the work surface and tile surface. thanks

Masking tape on both side then wet spoon or finger. Remove masking tape straight away then wet finger again to smooth the edges. The biggest mistake most people make is too much silicone.
