Silver / Chrome Triple Face Plate for Mains?

They have a large face-plate (item mp508) which is available in many colours.

Four modules can be inserted into it, eg four socket outlets.

However, your wiring may not permit you to add these socket modules without fitting a 13 amp fuse before them.

So, a 13 amp fuse module is available; and could be fitted into the grid to feed three single socket modules.

A small blank may be needed to fill a gap in the grid set-up.

Perhaps if we can see a picture of the offending item?

I've come across both flush and surface 3-gang socket outlets and almost without fail they are mounted on standard 1 or 2 gang back boxes

How about approaching this from a different angle!

Remove old backbox, chisle out to left and right and insert a double back box.

Fit whatever double socket you like then!

The triple back box stays. All I want is the silver front sockets. That's not too much to ask is it?

I think that what everyone is trying to tell you is that it is too much to ask.

It may not be unreasonable, in absolute terms, but the unavoidable fact is that nobody makes what you want.

The unavoidable conclusion is that you can choose between only these two:

1) Leave the white 3-gang socket in place

2) Replace it with a silver 2-gang

I guess I'll have to leave it white then. Cheers.

Sorry I thought you had a single back box with a double converta socket.

It's easy, get a custom made - no problem easy peasy, eith get SSG, Hamilton, Huggett etc to make one or buy modules and have a suitable stainless plate made by your local fabricators - we order them and occasionaly make them a lot for commercial premises, but you pay a premium for one offs.

How about ripping out the triple gang box fitting a double and a single next to it and having a double and single outlet - or go mad and have two doubles
