Siting a bathroom extractor

No. That’s my issue. Neither the extractor or the vent are flat against the ceiling/wall. I can’t see how they could be with a sloping pipe

Adapt and overcome... Shouldn't be an issue unless you've sloped it too much! Even then, just flush it to the surfaces and do what you have to do to make the connection... It doesnt have to be exact science... If you have to use some sealant then use it... Its why it's called sealant. :)
 
Outdoors connection is passable but I think the internal pipe is too slanted which means the extractor is lifted from one side of the ceiling. Probably by 10mm...
