just wondering how the pros skim external corners. i've got render bead and was not sure if i should put some angle bead over it and then skim to that?

or should i just blend it in?

thanks

sanj

dab a thin set bead to the corner with a bit of skim, leve it to firm up, then skim.

The thin coat bead that noseall showed is perfect for the job.The only thing that I would add to his comment is to put a few 25/30mm galvanised clout nails up each side, say 4 per side just to give it that mechanical fix. I also put a strip of fibre tape over both outside edges of the beads and the wall,(half the tape on the bead, half on the wall) just to break up the straight line, and any potential crack. They give a great finish on corners/window reveals, beams.Perfect for thin coats.

Roughcaster.
