Slating around a velux

I have fitted my velux and have to refit the tiles. they are blue slate and one course will cut down perfectly to fit. the other alternate course has about 30mm left to be filled.

Can i buy i wider size slate to fit this gap and cut it down if necessary. my slates are 260mm wide.
