I am looking to replace a tall sash window with French doors. The problem I have is that the opening is only 43.5 inches wide. The profile on traditional upv-c French doors would mean a high ratio of profile to glass. I've trawled the web to look at alternatives such as cladded aluminum and steel doors, but am struggling to find suitable solutions. Knowledge of possible alternatives, or general advice on the issue, would be greatly welcomed.
