The water flow on my bath hot water tap has slowed down over the last few days to a trickle - what do I need to do to repair this??
The style of tap I have is a shrouded head tap.

There is no other problems with any of the other hot or cold taps in the house.

have you "taken it apart to see how it works" it may be lime scale

I havent taken it apart yet - I was looking for pointers before I get the tools out !!

We have gas fired central heating.

Yes, that is happening to my hot water tap too.

I have to turn if off then on again to get some flow before it dies away again - maybe washer perhaps?

Just an additional comment,

See the thread
Just a Dribble...
for more info in how to resolve.

In short the tap, or its innards need replacing. Not yet sure what the underlying reason for this is though.

The jumper's loose in the screw down part. Dead common. Perfectly obvious if you look inside. Not the science of the moonly rocket.
