Hi any idea where to get a very small euro/shaver socket as per the attached picture? No isolating transformer needed, it's in a WC so outside the zones.

The smallest I can think is a single euro module from MK or similar but I can't find a small architrave box or similar to put it in, only a standard 1G box.

If this is for use in the bathroom, I'd personally stick with a transformer for safety, regardless of zones.

Careful, a 2 pin euro socket is not the same as a UK BS4579 shaver socket. A 2 pin euro plug will likely be a poor contact fit and get stuck in a shaver sized socket, the euro pins are much thinner and the metal contact caps overhang the pins and cause them to be stuck on the shutters of most shaver sockets when trying to remove them, the pin spacing is different too.

The BG module above states it is rated 16A but 2 pin euro is rated 2.5A max (as is a UK shaver socket). 3 pin euro is of course rated 16A. It's difficult to find information on that unit as many online wholesalers appear to be using AI for the product descriptions, and as a result many of the descriptions are technically inaccurate dog shyte.

Probably the smallest option would be a Legrand Mosaic 1 module back box. Quite expensive though.

MK do make architrave plates/boxes for grid plus, but afaict they only do it in the edge/aspect ranges, not the "plus" ranges.

"As above not in a bathroom and potentially used for euro socket hair straighteners which would overload an isolating transformer."
Might be easier to cut off the two pin plug and fit a proper plug.

To make matters even more confusing, there’s three near-identical plugs with very different electrical ratings. The Euro plug is rated 2.5 A, the French version 6 A and the Italian even 10 A. That’s why you get the odd hairdryer with a plug like that, usually the Italian variety.

I just checked, it seems your only option for Legrand Mosaic is to get an earthed Italian 10/16 A socket. All the others are two modules wide.
