Small LED Ceiling Light

Is there any reason, other than possiblly confusing future folks, that you couldn't use the "load" connection for the supply and the "supply" connection for the load? that would put the switch and supply wires at one end and the load wire at the other.

I hadn't actually thought of that, but ....

.... in my situation, at least as it is at present, that would work, but only because the light in question will be at the end of the run of the light circuit, so there will be no 'loop out' cable - so that might be an option for me (were it not for the other problem below). However, if it weren't the last light on the circuit (or if someone wanted to extend the circuit subsequently) there would be a problem, since the 'other' supply connections ('loop out') would then be switched by the switch.

However, as I wrote, since it clearly is not possible to put flex into the Quickwire connectors, this question becomes moot (unless I dismantle the light fitting and run T+E into it), since that Quickwire connector can remain 'inaccessible' above the ceiling (with some other connector/connections below ceiling - or, at least, accessible through the hole in the ceiling), in which case it would not matter which ends the various cables were connected to.

Kind Regards, John
