Well, I suppose if 'leave to remain' includes being fed, housed and paid pocket money, with no sign of any repatriation to either their own country or France (their last safe haven), then I'd say the 100% of them have been 'given leave to remain'!
To be honest, I find it quite worrying that they continue to come in droves and there is no sign of any move to either send them back whence they came or to even stop them coming. If this continues indefinitely, I'm afraid that this country is going to change in a very serious way! At the age of 70 and having no children, I suppose I should not be too bothered about that, but I do feel sorry for our own young people.

There are a fair few delusional people about on here who haven't a clue what they are talking about and not helped by news etc items that pander to their opinions and probably helped form them in the first place. The news could equally say several million refugees didn't arrive here which would be perfectly true. News and similar media spend all of there time looking for things to report and there is lots of it around. A lot of fringe stuff is ill informed and twisted otherwise it would be boring. The more sensational it sounds the better. Even better if it can be critical of something or the other. Fact is some people can't cope with it.
