Hi guys
I have a sink rocker tap where ive changed the main core. To take it apart I had to take the whole tap off as it was stuck together over time. Under the sink have about 4 inches of threaded tap column before it meets the copper pipe.
When I took it apart there was a soft white seal between the fittings that had all but disintegtrated. I tried to out it back together with the seal as good as possible. I now have a slight drip from the fitting and obviously need to replace the seal but I cant find one online despite trying all manner of searches on seal and washer.

Can anyone tell me what it is im looking for?
Thanks

There's usually a fibre washer between the tap and the connectors......the likes of B&Q sell them in packs of various diameters.

Thanks guys. Neithee ofbyou have answered the question. Its not a fibre washer, more a soft rubbber seal. The chrome pipe leading from the tap is slightly larger in diameter than the 15mm copper. The opening is slightly tapered in some way.. The copper then sits just inside the taper with the seal in between. The nut then screws onto the tap base column. Im sure there must be an olive in there somewhere but I dont remember seeing one..

Can't picture that arrangement at all, but it sounds like its an 'o' ring of some sort......any chance of a photo?
