I'm going to need to do a bit of soldering at the back of steel bath (well, I could take it out, but really don't want to if I can avoid it).
It's a brand new, top of range Bette thing. Cost a fortune.
I've got a mat and a decent Rotheberger gun. I'll take all the plastic fittings away before I start. And obviously I'll avoid anything that means I'm pointing the gun right at the back of the bath.
But any tips? Anybody got any horror stories about damaging a steel bath with heat? I'm thinking that if I fill it with cold water that'll take heat away.
It'll be in 15mm solder ring copper.
Thanks in advance.
