Further to my comment elsewhere, I have a problem where my LG TV is showing No Signal for some channels, but others are fine. This is usually BBC1 or 2, but it also happens on others like 17.

Also, BBC1 crashes and the screen goes blank. A message says there is a lack of memory and the app is reloading. It's a forking nuisance and between the two issues, I'm regretting buying the damn thing.

Regarding the no signal issue, I can rescan and the channels will reappear, but will later disappear again. Frustrating.

I have one aerial on the roof going to a TV in the lounge, split to another point in the den.

Previously, both TVs were Samsungs and there was no signal loss. The only thing we suffered was some pixelation in bad weather. Then I got rid of the Samsung in the lounge and replaced it with the LG. That's when the trouble started.

Niw I have replaced the LG in the lounge with a Hisense. Absolutely no signal issues with that. And now I've replaced the 10 year old Samsung in the den with the LG.

Guess what? Signal loss problems all over again ....

I know Rodders has kindly suggested using BBC HD, but other channels are involved too.

What's going on, and how do I solve the app memory issue?

Thanks.

Just a thought, (and you might have already covered this, so apologies if that's the case), but a lot of LG TVs have an RF power supply feature to run masthead amps and powered splitters etc. What I've noticed is that LG has a habit of re-enabling the feature after firmware updates. I've taken to fitting RF DC blockers on installations with LG TVs.

general comments

live tv comes off the aerial
anything else comes off the internet
so perhaps try live tv before a retune because when you retune you automatically get live tv

now i might be miles out but iff live tv still works its not an aerial problem
