Some lowlife scum screwdrivered the lock on my car

M

Mickymoody

And still couldn't get in....

To steal what? Everything is on show....

And couldn't start it anyway, because it's in store, and has a flat battery, and a CAT1 immobiliser.

Tow it off for scrap? The V5 has to be filled in..

What a loser. Scumbags. First the rear wiper blade, then the reg plates, front and rear, now the lock busted.

Scum. No other word for them.

But where in Manchester do you live?!

Have to agree, there are some pretty mindless scum out there.
I recently had the back door of my van scratched with, well a word indicating that I stimulate my own genitals and the perpetraitor must be not only scum but thick scum into the bargain - offending word ended in an "a" rather than "er"

Hmm got off lightly then really,

I'd hate to be a victim of a driveby shooting by the "bruda's" in their 10 year old corsa.

Reg plates nicked? , thats not good.

That's part of their stupidity, it's stored, and SORNED, so whoever stole the plates, or the single (obviously) rear wiper, just adds to how stupid they are, why nick one wiper? When there are 2 up front? Why nick the plates (reported to police), when, if used, would immediately alert ANPR, Town centres CCTV, and shopping centres use this now (such as the Trafford Centre), so an immediate alert would be given to police. Idiots! The classic line from Pulp Fiction, 'Never mess with a man's motor' springs to mind.

To add insult to injury, I had a note pushed through my letterbox, nice, clear, handwritten note from a bloke called Andy, and a mobile number, stating that he would offer me £100 as scrap value for it on the Thursday, when the damage occurred either Wed night, to Friday morning....COULD/WOULD/CAN someone be THAT stupid, and how to prove it? It's a special limited edition car, and I saw a similar one for same recently that was bog standard spec, for sale at a dealer for £1000, where an equivelent Escort/Astra type car would be a £200-£400 car, obviously taxed etc..

And couldn't start it anyway, because it's in store, and has a flat battery, and a CAT1 immobiliser.

When I bought my new car, I was assured it was one of the hardest cars to pinch. It didn't have a key or any key holes, it had 2 Trackers and alarmed with CAT1 immobiliser and had a steering wheel lock on.
Bu66ers still pinched it from a secure NCP car park though
