Just logged in and 4 of the topics I have been following were locked late yesterday afternoon.
Read them to bring me up to date and can't see any obvious reason for them being locked.
I have formed my own conclusion though.

I've noticed that some comments, especially the later ones, are deleted when a discussion is locked.

Actually, when the Mods notice someone from outside the Lunatic asylum reading a thread, it's locked to prevent the infection spreading.

MOD: Not this time. Threads are locked when they descend into pointless name calling and bickering. If you take who was the last poster in a thread as to having any meaning then you are mistaken. Thread locked.
