I just purchased a 2 sets of speedfit flexi pipes. A 15mm set for the basin and a 22mm set for the bath. The basin set has isolator valve built in and it cost me £29. I think thats very expensive.

After buying them, I've been checking the web and they seem a bit cheaper obviously.

Anyone bought and use these yet.

regards

used loads, love them they make life so easy ,make sure pipe end is clean before connecting, things like flux kill the seals in no time

How much do you normally pay for them, do you think I got a fair price or was it too expensive. Thanks for the tip, I'll make sure I clean the pipe properly with a cloth.

Ok, they might be a bit cheaper on the net, but if that price is for two pairs, it seems reasonable. They are so easy to use, if you lubricate the pipes, they are worth it.

Didn't know they made them. Been using speedfit isolators, tap connectors and flexi tube cut to length so it sounds like I've been making my own (or similar). Presume though these come as one piece? Do they do 22mm tap to 15mm?

sorry mate, i wouldn't know if they do that fitment as its the firt time i have purchased these.

Any tips on what lubricant is good to use?

those speedfit isolators are great aren't they?...unless you actually need to use them that is, as soon as you put a screwdriver in them to turn them the slot is knackered!
