one of the posts remind me of something 2 months ago i got a speeding fine am i supposed to inform norwich union before my renewal date or just keep quiet in case they bump my premium up

Unfortunately, I think you should tell them now - if you don't and then want to claim prior to the renewal, they may say you are not covered.
