Apologies to those who thought this may be a thread with a political slant...

My new Samsung washing machine has a spin only setting.

The choices are: 400 RPM, 800 RPM, 1000 RPM, 1200 RPM, 1400 RPM and 1600 RPM each having a time against them.

Oh, and NO SPIN.

Just to confuse you even more, the "NO SPIN" setting takes 2 minutes...

Can I please have some of what the designers were taking when they thought this was logical??

i love my 1600 spin speed allows a full load to be washed and dried on a 40 deg 1 hr wash and tumbled dry in my seperate dryer for about 2.5units or 30p total cost in under 2 hours the majority off man made come out all but dry so need about 15 mins drying
and the 2 min no spin will be the pump working to empty the machine
