Put a 16a TypeB RCBO on the RCD free side of a split board. Mistakenly I joined the neutral off the RCBO to the wrong neutral bar. This main RCD kept tripping and got around 75vac.
Ok, I swapped it over and it worked properly. But how did I get 75 amps instead of 240v or no volts at all??

Something not correct here. Probably you mean volts? But dont go looking for things that arent there, its not worth the hassle.

You've installed an RCBO :D
On the second attempt you've wired it correctly
Did you check the trip times conform with the standard using a calibrated RCD tester? ;)

TTC - Mike2007 is a star pupil of the school of making it up as you go along and doing things with no proper understanding hoping you get it right by accident. Of course he didn't test.
