Spot of bad luck

Pinochet, an old buddy of Thatcher, was none of those things. Neither was Franco.
No they weren't, and never claimed to be.

Compare the various regimes espousing the socialist/communist ideology of equality which are in fact just dictatorships with right wing leanings and a clique of the well off aka Animal Farm. And never ever try to speak out in a socialist environment, that level of opinion and alternative thought from the proletariat is just not tolerated.

You've never been to Sweden, then.

With your insane fear of Socialism, it must be terrible for you, living in a country that has a National Health Service, publicly funded schools, roads and fire service. One day there might be publicly owned water and sewage companies, and a national Rail system. Where will you flee to?

How do you avoid using Socialist roads and motorways? Socialist street lighting? Socialist bin collection?

There is a good (to me at least) film about the Pinochet regime. It's called Nae pasaran. It tells the story of the Rolls Royce engine factory in East Kilbride. They did the engines for the Chilean fighter jets but the workers wouldn't release the engines when they hears that Pinochet was using them against his own people. Nae Pasaran is like a portmanteau using nae (Scottish form of no) and Pasaran (Spanish; they will pass) = no they will pass = they won't go.

I recall several fruit cakes in the media criticised the Russian conductor of the g German orchestra for not speaking up about this Ukranian caper

The fact that he has got family in Russia did not seem to appear on there radar ??
