Spur from outside light

Run to waterproof box screwed shut

inside box (box under eves of house around 7 foot off floor) rcd twin sockets

Some lights have a plug and then a transformer, so would place that inside box

others have transformer in plug head, like a mobile phone charger

lights will be led

do I need rcd sockets? House has a rcd board for light, sockets etc

What size cable

what power can be drawn. Only plugging in a few lights, but want to know.

If that is running on the lighting circuit then 1mm² or 1.5mm² will be fine. Please be careful and ensure water cant get into anything and drill the hole to the outside angled down so water cant run inside.

If the light installed is 1. is it ok to run 1.5mm from it?
