I have an annoying and sometimes very loud high pitched squeaking noise coming from under my car (fiesta 01 mk4) audible from the handbrake area so I think it may be the exhaust. Took it into three garages in the end, only one drove it and it didn't make the noise, they all said that there was nothing wrong with the exhaust and the one that drove it checked the underneath of the car and suspension with no joy. Sometimes it doesn't make the noise, other times you can hear it over the radio. I've noticed the flexi-pipe is quite bent and low but apparently it's nothing to worry about. Any ideas?

The flexy pipe connection can squeak a bit - usually when its coupled to a pattern exhaust system rather than a Ford genuine...try rocking the engine hard and see if the noise appears. John
