I get an incredibly annoying squeaking noise coming from the highlighted part below.
The sound is a bit like what you get with wood expanding.
As far as I can tell it only happens when it's sunny.
I've tried greasing it and if I push up hard on the casing it stops it momentarily. The velux has was installed about 15 years ago.
Has anyone experienced this or has any ideas how to stop the noise?
