Is it safe to use one of these on 22mm Speedfit pipe in a central heating system, without damaging the pipe?

Can’t say for speedfit fit but that’s the same thing I use on Alkathene and MDPE underground.

Possibly if it's the softer PB layflat but the stiffer PEX may not like it.

speed fit heating pipe, will be barrier pipe, I don't think it will like being crushed, i have never used a squeeze of, for central heating.

I was thinking of a completely different kind of squeeze-off altogether, but then again, I'm in the pub
