Ssssssshhhhhh, don't mention Reform.

that does not prove it is a deterrent that would stop people leaving France

I am sorry you keep being wrong
I'd be sorry also if I was wrong, but fortunately, I'm not.

If you read the article it is evidence that the fear of Rwanda was sufficient for people to consider choosing a different place to apply to be migrants. If people who come to the UK that are a massive drain on tax funded public resources, decide to go somewhere else. That is a good outcome.

Exactly

Reform party membership numbers is falling.

It is unfortunately a characteristic of Farage's fan base that older men tend to drop off the perch. Especially those who are smokers and drinkers.

You are WRONG

The article is about asylum seekers already in England, going to NI to avoid chance of Rwanda.

That is not evidence that Rwanda was ever a deterrent for people wanting to get across the channel.

1) Rwanda scheme cost £800m for ZERO people
2) Rwanda scheme never had capacity for more than a few hundred
3) Rwanda scheme was reciprocal so could send refugees over here
4) Rwanda scheme never got off the ground because it was illegal, Rwanda is not a safe country
5) there’s ZERO evidence Rwanda was a deterrent

As usual you are totally and utterly wrong.

Aveatry seems very keen to defend Reform, a party he doesn’t admit to supporting.
If I supported them I would say so - as I dont give a sh1t what you think.
I googled membership to find out if reform are loosing members and the item about labour was the first thing to come up and I couldn’t find figures for reform loosing members.

People leaving for fear of getting deported = people not arriving for the same.
2023 data also shows the effect.

Why do people believe Reform Party have solutions to small boats crisis?

Because they don’t:
“Towing boats back to France” not possible so not a solution
“Return all illegals” not possible without returns agreement, so not a solution.
“Leave ECHR” not possible so not a solution.

Wake up folks, Reform have no answers
