Ssssssshhhhhh, don't mention Reform.

Do they have any?

I have no idea. This is my best guess:

End immigration
End DEI and ban trans people
Slash benefits
Get rid of green policies
Start fracking and open new coal mines

I wouldn't dare to think I could guess a political parties policies.

Most parties don't spell out their real intentions until they get into power. It makes sense to apply a bit of thought to what they might actually do in practice.

So as we were discussing an extreme right wing party, is it reasonable to think that their real policies would be further right than their declared policies?

Reform are currently classed by most people as populist right, rather than extreme right. I think their policies would be a bit further right than their manifesto. But not extreme right wing policies, such as forced mass deportation.

Like Trumpian right wing?

Do we think that would be acceptable to the majority UK electorate.

I think domestic policy could be very similar in areas such as immigration, energy and DEI. But the systems are very different. In some ways a UK PM with a good majority has more power than a US President and in other ways less.

It will be interesting to find out how acceptable the UK electorate find it. A lot would depend on whether it brings actual benefits to normal peoples' lives.

And the UK PM is far more vulnerable than POTUS.
Thus he/she relies on party and public support for his/her longevity in office.
