Stains around toilet base

Hi, I hope someone can help identify the problem with our toilet. We are getting brown stains around the toilet base on the floor (not inside the toilet). Its a standard UK toilet. I cant see a leak and its not pee so I am confused where it is coming from. There is also a drain type smell in the bathroom. If someone can advise I could get someone in to fix it. Thanks!

I have posted the pics now. Doesn't look bad now but it happened before and I cleaned and sealed around the toilet. Now the stains are coming back and the bathroom smells like something is leaking but I cant see a leak.

Here is the back. Also, when this issue occurs, there seems to be a little backflow into the pan, ie a little waste in the pan even though no one has used the toilet

With all due respect mate it’s virtually impossible to source your leak when your not there.
If people know an answer they will give it to you. A toilet can only leak from a couple places.
Check that flexi hose for leaks.
Check where the cistern connects to the pan.
The waste pipe looks ok but check that just to make sure it’s pushed in correctly and the sill is still working.
That’s generally the only three places a toilet leaks from.
Use some dye in the cistern and leave it for Abit.
It may even be just condensation off the pan.
Check all those until you find your leak. No need for the attitude just because you didn’t get an answer straight away.
Many people will happily give you advice but will see you have resorted to having an attitude and just ignore your post.
