Stan Laurel used to live near my granny in North Shields.

Stan Laurel was born in Ulverston which isn't too far from me. From what I gather he moved to the North East at an early age. There is currently a museum in Ulverston dedicated to Laurel and Hardy http://www.laurel-and-hardy-museum.co.uk/home.htm

Stan used to live in the next street to my granny thats what she said years ago and my dad said it's true, so i take it to be true. ps my granny is 99 years old she only hanging around for her telagram from the queen.
