I am looking at connecting my 60kva genset into my place.

I have been checking out changeover switches.
There are 3 pole and 4 pole options.

The only problem I can see, going for a three pole option, is not allowing N currents to stray, and to impact onto RCD devices.
I have run a couple of tests. to see what I, goes which way.

Anybody know of 100amp ATC or Manual switches for not silly money.
There is some cheaper Chint stuff about. Anybody have any comment on the reliability of this stuff.

Can't comment on their ATS systems, but we have a few panels fitted with Chint breakers and contactors at work, and they seem reliable enough.

And to not be isolated from the DNO supply?

I would have thought 4-pole would be essential?

A 4 pole transfer switch is an absoloute must if as I assume you have a 3 phase 4 wire supply?
