Starmer postpones elections even further in Reform areas...

A mirror or device that provides a view along each side of the vehicle.

SwervyMcSwervy, tries to move away from the clear fact that there is no requirement to use the provided mirrors for a specific use. Simply a view along the side of the vehicle

The MOT tester tries to argue that the regulations state how the mirrors are to be used..

and provides no evidence to back up his lie.

Your started an argument about nothing and now you look daft again.
You can't understand what's been posted isn't my problem

Start from the beginning, tell me what mirrors are obligatiry ? Use the c and u regs, and then move onto the MOT regs to apply them

I will wait. I've been waiting ages

The only mirrors that are covered (for provision and use) in the MOT test are the obligatory mirrors.

An advanced driving instructor should know off the top of their head which mirrors are obligatory.

You are floundering, and embarrassing yourself more and more

Who likes stamps? I want an argument with someone about the technicalities of the perforation pattern on the edge. I'm sure it will be more exciting than bloody car mirrors.

here are some facts by those trusted to maintain democracy.

"We are disappointed by both the timing and substance of the statement. Scheduled elections should as a rule go ahead as planned, and only be postponed in exceptional circumstances. We are concerned by the possibility of some council elections in May being postponed, and even more by any further postponement to those which already had been deferred from 2025.

"As a matter of principle, we do not think that capacity constraints are a legitimate reason for delaying long planned elections. Extending existing mandates risks affecting the legitimacy of local decision making and damaging public confidence. There is a clear conflict of interest in asking existing Councils to decide how long it will be before they are answerable to voters.

yep - they called it. (y)

Back on topic...........

Sir John Curtice has avoided GBeebies' trap on the postponement of elections.....by using facts.

Some muddled ideas there. I had to watch at 2x speed to endure the waffle from the bloke in the corner.

Labour doesn't want Reform to succeed. They're effectively in cahoots with the Tories now.

All the coverage from Tory areas will show Reform taking control from Tory. But they'll also show a massive decline in Labour's fortunes from whatever percentage 2nd place they got last time, down to laughable percentages in most areas, possibly losing their deposit.

Obviously they want as few elections as possible to go ahead. There's no contradicition, and nobody got schooled at any point during that interview.

This isn't about the country or even the Labour party, it's about Starmer's survival as PM. Starmer is the only thing that Starmer really cares about.
