Starmer's' 6 factories

They proved then, and have proven since that they would sh1t on us as soon as look at us.
Sh*t on us? If that's a misguided comment about our relationship with the EU, then it could well be said that we have behaved appallingly towards the EU by not upholding the treaty which Lord Frost et al negotiated with them. We, not they, are the really untrustworthy ones.

There's also the common complaint that they are punishing us - well, if you are a member of a club, like a gym, you are entitled to the benefits of being a member because you pay your dues. Britain is no longer a member of the EU club, so we get treated the same way that other non-members get treated. That isn't punishment regardless of how many times The Telegraph or The Mail or GB News seek to portray it as such

The Brexit we ended up with is almost the worst possible outcome anyone could have imagined, and in fact has been worse than even people in the Remain campaign forecast. Much worse. That is because our illustrious former leaders really cocked up the leave process - then compounded the situation by not allowing the people a plebicite on the final treaty. I'm pretty sure that many people would never have voted for the dog's dinner we ended up with. In the end the Brexit we got was NEVER what the majority voted for when they voted to leave

FYI BAE Systems operate in a number of European contries, NLAW is a British/Swedish product, the Eurofighter Typhoon is a joint product between Airbus, BAE Systems and Leonardo (who incidentally own Agusta Westland in Yeivilton) whilst the Storm Shadow/Scalp-EG missile was developed jointly by the UK and France. All examples of co-operation with people in the EU. So if you think we can't work with other Europe I think you may just be in error there

FFS we made a bad deal with the EU, even Lord Frost agrees that much.

Israel have some decent tech they could sell us.
We need the Israelis to take out Iran's uranium centrifuges.
They're already taing the p saying all their work is for reactors.
Reactors work on about 5% enriched U. They are producing a lot of 89% enriched, which is only any good for bombs.
Things like nuclear powered submarines use about 50% enriched. I don't know what else they might want it for.

[Nuclear bombs etc 101: Mined Uranium is the 99% + U 238 . That's fissionable but not fissile.
U235 is fissile, which means it goes into a chain reaction which accelerates, big bang once you''re over the critical mass because the neutrons don't escape. YOu get plutonium 239. In a reactor you use "rods" to absorb neutrons and control the reaction. If you hit U238 with the neutrons from 235, off it goes into fission, hence fissionable.
It's very hard to separate the isotopes because chemically they're the same, so it's heated to a gas, then centrifuged it, and the 235 fraction is in the middle.
Depleted Uranium is the U238 that's left. I've handled a lump of it. It's astonishingly dense - about 1,7x lead so it's good for shooting at people tanks and that. It's only slightly radioactiive, but that goes to keep Earth warm.
The reaction chain stuff is absolutely fascinating. Without it we wouldn't be here, supernovae, yada yada...]

Good news! Russia just lost around 1/3 of it's aircraft capable of launching Kinzhals or similar cruise missiles.
Jawdropping.. I wonder what the average Russkie sees on telly, of that.
I imagine Putin's response may be to obliterate Kyiv. Maybe tonight.

He’ll take his time, he won’t want to upset his brexhit voting supporters in the west too much. I doubt Ukrane achieved it without US intelligence but it may be too much to hope for a subtle intelligent response from the Don.

Not much, Russian media isn't reporting it.

People keep saying things along the lines of 'Now Russia will really strike Ukraine.' as if there is something that Russia can do that it wasn't planning to do already.

At most this would move up an existing strike.

If the Iranians wanted a nuclear bomb they would have built one years ago.
Netanyahu has made a career out of telling the world that an Iranian nuclear bomb was imminent,he has been saying it for years.
What good would a crude low yield nuclear bomb be to Iran, when you consider that their enemies have a huge arsenal of nuclear weapons, it would be suicidal for Iran to threaten them.
The real reason for all this enmity towards Iran is due to its support for the Palestinians, its enemies want the present regime replaced with another that will be pro American/European, whether that replacement regime is democratic or not is irrelevant.
