Hi, has anyone experienced static shocks from laminate flooring when touching any metal objects in kitchen ie light switch, sink. (All electrics have been double checked for earthing so no faults found here.)
Any solutions to stop these shocks from happening?

i have Quickstep laminate flooring throughout my house and have never experience such problems. Just had a look at their brochure, and it says their flooring have anti-static properties.

Check the humidity of your home and - no joke - how moist your hands are. If both are dry you can get "shocks".

Raising the air humidity and using hand cream could solve it

Whats the best way to get rid of the shocks i've been told floor polish, floor wax or fabric softner on the laminate flooring? MENY THANKS
