Steam Room telephone connection

Hi guys.

This is my first post here so be gentle

Ive installed a fab shower/ sauna from www.rightshower.com (name made me laugh too).

Its a great bit of kit. Ive got it all running bar the handsfree phone thingy. Trouble is you need to run a phone cable into the back of it. Im not that great with electrics etc.

Do i need to just run any bog standard extension cord into the back of it (there is a socket for it) or do i need to get some special water tight cable or something for the bathroom?

I dont really need it, but you know what its like.. I want to tell my mates at the pub when the call "ill be there once im out the sauna"

recently fitted similar we installed a phone socket behind the enclosure (you require a special gpo punch tool to do this effectively) and plugged straight in. the unit we installed had it's own extraction and the room also had a decent extractor fan as well. So far customer hasnt experienced any problems with the phone and no problems regs wise
