Thansk, but my bathroom and kitchen are as old as my boiler, no car, just a bike... I wish.... but then hey... I would be glad of hot water and heating as I have not had any since begining of December...
The cheapest solution to your problem would be to have the immersion heater in the cylinder either repaired or installed and then you will have hot water.
For heating you can use a fan or convection heater. Or just wear a thick jumper!
