I am try to buy some chemical paint stripper to aid in removal paint from the stone front of the home allot of the paint removal chemicals are not suitable for limestone my house is a Victorian house built in Cardiff. Could anyone identify the stone it is made from

Looks more like sandstone to me.
The four stones exposed the top one is dark Gray i dont believe it sandstone sandstone is yellow
