Fitting shower tray on existing moisture proof weyrock. Would fitting a piece of additional weyrock same sixe as tray suffice or should i cut out size of tray and fit 20mm. marine ply in place. Trouble with fitting marine ply is the amount of work involved in strengthening original floor as the floor edges would be suspended between beams.
