Stopcock and back feeding

Hi,

I had a new supply in when we were doing a renovation a few years back, and we also got them to put in a supply to a garden room that I'm only just finishing I have connected up the water but when i turn on the stopcock to the garden room it sounds like the water is back feeding into the water softner, any advised would be appreciated, i have done a drawing

Fit a non return valve before the garden stop cock

Ive got no room as it goes through the wall and back, can you get a non return valve thats built into the stopcock ?

would it work on the softner pipe in

I think the footprint is to big to fit in, thank you anyways. Would it be possible to put it were i marked it ? on the supply in to the softer

Are you sure the stopcocks are for the correct place, eg the garden room? Sounds like it's connected wrong imo

yeah, that defiantly the garden room stopcock we wanted it before the softener as we didn't need that down the garden
