Correct. Once you have reestablished your off peak supply either:

1) If it's now connected to only the left hand consumer unit, it would need moving to the right hand off-peak one.

or,

2) If it's now connected to both consumer units, then it needs disconnecting from the left hand one, so that it only remains connected to the off-peak one.

Rented? is it an AST? then the Landlord (or Agent) has to supply you with certain paperwork - see

I certainly recommend that you ask the Landlord for advise/help with this issue you have. The Landlord should have a preferred electrician if things need correcting. A NSH is a fixed item and part of the house 'fabric'.
