Hi, My daughter has Electric (brick type) storage heaters in her house. One of the small ones has "tripped out" and I am having difficulty finding the Thermal Cutout.
The large (living room) tripped some time ago and I managed to find the cutout inside the control section on the top of the heater. However, the smaller one is proving more difficult to find. The company that fitted them has ceased trading, so we cannot go back to them.
Any ideas?

Make, model and photo might help.

Has she been lying clothes or something on top of the heaters, by the label that says "do not cover"?

Could be a failed Input Thermostat, they do not last for ever.

If it is the thermal cut out, it will depend on the make and year as to where the reset is located.

The heater may have contained a heat link.

This is a peice of metal which melts at a set temperature, and breaks the electrical circuit.

If it has melted you will not find it (because it's melted)
