Straight edge

I am looking for a good straight edge for screeding and dot and dabbing, I see on Amazon the sell a REFINA 2.5 Heavy Duty Straight Edge for around £52. Trying to find a good straight bit of timber probably a royal pain.

Anyone know of a better place to purchase one or a better option.
