Nope, all cables run directly up into metal piping sort of conduit.

Rather than being selective in providing answers to questions:

It would be helpful if you could answer the question that was raised earlier by mfarrow regarding the wiring of the four block terminal strip - or EFL's request for a better picture of the terminal blocks.

Since your initial photograph has raised concerns that you may have wired the lamp unit incorrectly.

Earth wired to earth , not included on diagram

Firstly,
is the earth tag on the light fitting connected to the cpc (earth wire) in the three block connector?

Then the four block connector,
are the wires connected red to red, black to black and cpc to cpc?

I realise it could be the angle but it certainly doesn't look like it.

Have you checked the voltage at each connection point?

What's the green connected to the loop?

You need to show the CPCs. As there is a potential for the fitting to be live, as indicated by you drawing a green dot on the diagram, and that the diagram terminals don't match to the photo, and my concerns on page 1...

DO NOT CARRY OUT ANY TESTING.

Get us a photo of the 4-way first to confirm CPC continuity, and we'll take it from there.
