My diverter valve has failed, I have obtained the repair kit, to replace the Diaphragm in it but want to know if the body comes apart, in order to get at the lower chamber to give it a good clean. I know how to remove the diverter valve from the boiler, and how to remove the top part of the valve to get at the diaphragm, but not how to split the rest of the body.

Its gonna be the same or near enough to give you a clue.
Personally I wouldnt be ripping it apart though just rinsing it and maybe brushing out a bit otherwise you might as well have just got a full new valve if anything was wrong at that end
