stripping roof tiles

Hi i am in the process of stripping one side of my roof,i have scaffolding up but this does not go upto exsisting house but around new extention,what is the best way of removing tiles of the roof and most saftely i have thought about using tressles but will they be safe enough the pitch is around 40 degrees

Mate , when it comes to saftey, do not risk it.

You can feel safe in what you are doing but one tiny slip and you can break your neck or worse.

Get your scaffolder to extend your scaffold around the main roof, it may cost another couple of hundred quid but better than than the rest of your life in a wheelchair .

Ive seen someone killed from a ten foot drop when i was an apprentice.
