Hi,

I've just poured the concrete slab floor base in my ground floor. I'll be putting 100mm insulation + UFH pipes + 75mm Screed on top of this.

There are a number of internal timber stud-partitions that I need to put up on the ground floor - Do i need to put these up before the insulation/screed?

Someone has said that the stud partitions need to go on top of the screed, but not sure how stable that will be as the screws will be going into the screed+ insulation unless i am using really large screws to get into the concrete slab base.

It can be either but logic would suggest laying the screed first. The screed will hold out for screwing into as long as you have left it say- a week.
