I agree with this decision, the system would be open to abuse, and 16 year olds shouldn't be able to make such a life changing decision. Lastly women's rights shouldn't be pushed aside in favour of trans.

This could come back to bite the SNP, they appear to be abusing their mandate from the people.
I believe there is a petition to change the rules for any future independence referendum.
A 2/3rds majority would be required to get the independence faction over the line.
I think that would be a good idea.
