Sulphur Smell coming from Central Heating

The boiler was most recently checked in October
That's irrelevant if it's faulty.

if I call transco and say I think I smell GAS or something from the bioler
Buy you don't smell gas, do you?

...will they send somebody out for free
Yes, but they might be p*ssed off when they find that you didn't smell gas.

...or should I just turn everythin off until Tuesday and call out a plumber ?
Yes, but call an RGI instead of a plumber.

When we got back from holiday (before that no smell), I noticed that the water pressure was low in the central heating system so I topped it up, might be nothing but if you have all the infor you can advise.
Probably not related, but if you have to top it frequently then your system is in need of maintenance on the water side.

Our electricity went off this morning for two hours, on return there was a sulphur smell in the living room which also has the controls for the underfloor heating. Our boiler is a distance away in the garage and we use oil. The smell does not seem to be in the other rooms. I ended up with a really severe headache and am not sure if this has any thing to do with it. Any advise would be appreciated.
